The report said the review could show Broadcom equipment is used in a large share of state data centers and could precede informal guidance on procurement. Reuters said it could not independently verify the report.
Because the information comes from a reported survey rather than a published ban or regulation, it should not be read as confirmation that China has ordered Broadcom equipment removed.
